MEET OUR MINISTERIAL STAFF

Rev. Paula B. Blue | Minister of Spirituality and Worship 

Ministry responsibilities: Prayer, Worship Service, Hospitality (Guest Experience), Develop and implement New Ministry Opportunities for the congregation. 

 

Rev. Bessie Lucas | Minister of Family Care and Visitation 

Ministry responsibilities: visiting Sick and Shut-in, update Pastor of members who are in the hospital, having surgery, giving birth, deaconess ministry, and assist with funerals. 

Rev. Maggie Moore-Holley | Minister of Membership and Engagement 

Ministry responsibilities: oversee new members orientation, class leaders system, guest experience follow-up, connect with college students that are members and inactive members communication.  

Rev. Debra Porcher | Minister of Discipleship and Outreach

Ministry responsibilities: teaching and promoting discipleship class, collaborate with Minister of Membership and Engagement to create next steps for New Members to move from new members orientation to discipleship classes, and community partnerships and engagement.  

Rev. DeAnna Harris | Minister of Education and Training 

Ministry responsibilities: assist Lay Council and WH&OMS Department with planning and implementation of ministry goals, train and teach new quadrennial departmental theme, assist with department outreach initiatives. Assist the pastor with the development of congregational training material and workshops.     

Rev. Damond Wilson | Minister of Leadership and Social Justice 

Ministry responsibilities: CED (Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and all CED Departments), work with children and youth to develop leadership skills, social justice community collaboration, collaborate with Minister of Spirituality and Worship to create ministries such as Singles Ministry, Marriage Ministry, etc.
